I needed an unusual sized window replaced. I contacted several companies at different times. They all came out to give estimates and several were hired to do the job. Dates and times were arranged and both companies never showed up, never called to cancel, no communication period. I found Affordable Glass & Door on Home Advisor and contacted Ernie the owner. He responded within minutes. We spoke briefly and I explained the situation of the previous estimates and lack of communication (I sort of read him the riot act...sorry Ernie). He immediately set up a date and time to come out and look at the window. The quote was fantastic compared to the previous non-reputable companies. I hired Ernie and his son on the spot and he stated he could come out the following week to take measurements. Keep in mind this was one huge piece of glass that needed to be replaced with arcs and curves (hopefully Ernie will put this on his website), not an easy task but he made it look simple. Although Mother Nature did not co-operate the last several weeks with rain, the job was finally completed today and it looks perfect! Ernie and his son from Affordable Glass & Door are perfectionists and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! The follow-up and communication were wonderful. He kept in touch with me on a weekly basis following the weather reports and trying to determine a dry day to complete this project. If I could give them a 10 star rating I would.
